Improv Fundamentals with Kristine Shadid

If you're looking to get your feet wet in the world of improv, this is the course for you. Whether you're looking to start diving in, to reinforce the fundamentals, or you're just looking to take a course that helps build confidence, creativity and team work skills, this class will run you through fun exercises and scene work that will achieve all of the above, while you learn and strengthen the building blocks that go into any improv scene!

Who: No experience necessary! This course is structured like a five week guided improv jam for people of any skill level.

Kristine is coming up on the decade-long mark in her improv career. She has trained and taught improv at the University of Ottawa for 4 years, as well as studied under the guidance of improvisers from Ottawa, Vancouver, Victoria, Toronto, Montreal, and New York, and she's always excited to share that knowledge with her students. Kristine has performed all over the damn place, in the past with MI-6, Birds of Prey, Hall of Justice, and currently with Elgin Street Improv and Crush.
