The "How to Cheat at Improv" Ensemble with Tim Anderson

If you're looking to play with the kind of improv you see in the first half of Ottawa's most popular improv show, "Bout Time!", this ensemble is right up your alley. Over the 5 weeks of this course, you'll learn how to play improv games effectively by honing in on the fundamentals, working on being an effective scene partner, playing interesting characters, as well as focusing on playing the secret game that exists within every game itself to make the most entertaining set for the audience as possible. Then put it all on display at the Performance Showcase at the end of the course!

When: Classes are currently underway, but we're taking pre-registrations for our summer session, dates TBA. Reserve your spot today! (course includes an ensemble performance with Crush)

Where: Arts Court Courtroom, 2 Daly Ave.

Who: For anyone looking to try playing in front of a crowd for the first time, or any improviser looking to tone their "Bout Time!" muscles.

With a passion for improv, comedy, and storytelling, Tim has spent over half of his life devoted to performing, coaching, and teaching improv.
